Review: It is really hard to describe this book without giving anything away from the first book and the book its self. This is an amazing story about a girl who can sense gold. Her parents were killed by her uncle for her and their gold. She Ran from Georgia all the way to California on the wagon train. Tjhe book is about her starting a new life in a new place, California.
