Review by: Eli G.

Author: Edward Wortis

Number of pages: 310 pages

10-word summary: This is a great book about a very challenged boy.

Rating: 4 stars

Review: Crispin was a great book about a boy in the middle ages after he lost his mother. He tries to survive on a big adventure with his new friend Bear to defeat John Aycliffe. I gave this rating because it was a consistent book with minor flaws and a compelling story. I recommend this book to people who like historical and middle aged books.

Favorite quotation: "And my name-I knew with all my heart-was Crispin" (page 297)
