Rating: 5 stars
Review: Tobias has an abusive father and a dead mother. He must choose his own path, and he has major pressure from his father to choose,"the right way". Throughout initiation and his early years as a member of the faction he chose, Tobias uncovers secret after secret, and they are not good ones. I strongly advise you to read Divergent first, as Tobias's short stories overlap with Tris's story.
Favorite quotation: "The truth is, I want my choice to drive a knife right through my father's heart, to pierce him with as much pain and embarassment as possible. There is only one choice that can do that".
