10-word summary: This memoir really moved me emotionally and I highly recommend

Rating: 4 stars

Review: O.M.G!!! This book is really more for young adult readers but I had to read it. I amusing this book as my script in Speech and when I read it, I fell in love. It is a memoir about Jeanette Walls's life, the things she dealt with, and how she dealt with it. It is really dramatic and definitely stirs many emotions in a person so if you don't like sadness, don't read it but if you do, this book is more than perfect. Many bad and serious things happen in this book and it does have *some* foul language, which is why it's more for a young adult audience, but is definitely worth reading. I especially recommend for people who enjoy real world drama and those who have a high reading level.

Favorite quotation: "One of them squeezed my hand and told me I was going to be okay. I know, I said, but if I'm not, that's okay too." Page 22
