Review: I gave this rating because I love books that are about historical fiction. I love how it went from everything being ok to like oh the nazis wanna kill your friends family so we have to help them. Also it just give u suspense from each page you turn because you don't know if there going to get caught or not . Also from the moment I started reading the book it caught my attention.
Favorite quotation: "Ellen had said that her mother was afraid of the ocean, that it was too cold and too big. The sky was, too, thought Annamarie. The whole world was: too cold, too big. And too cruel."
