10-word summary: Sadie and Carter Kane are back in The Serpent's Shadow.

Rating: 4 Stars

Review: With all the usual twists and turns of Rick Riordan books and the added bonus of a climactic plot and hints of romance. This book concludes the Kane chronicles. There our other side books that build upon this amazing set of characters. This book series is something else, building on Egyptian mythology it brings history to life.

Favorite quotation: "Why once, in my bunker at Charing Cross Station, I stalked the deadly prey know as jelly babies." Neith's eyes widen. "They are dangerous?" "Horrible," I agreed. "Oh, they seem small and alone, but they always appear in great numbers. Sticky fattening-quite deadly. There I was, alone with alone with two quib and a Tube pass, beset by jelly babies, when...Ah, but never mind. When the jelly Babies, come for you...you will find out your own."
