10-word summary: most feared assassin in Ardalan has adventures in glass castle

Rating: 5 stars

Review: Throne of glass is about an assassin, Celaena Sardothien, and how she was taken from the salt mines where she had slaved away for a year, to the gleaming glass castle of the man she hates most in the world. But if it means her freedom, she is willing to compete in the king's ridiculous competition for a "champion" to do his dirty work. She is under an alias, but someone finds out who she really is. Dark magic is lurking in the castle, and Caelena has been charged to find it. Hopefully she doesn't get to attached to palace life, and one palace dweller, (namely the prince, Dorian) just in case she has to go back to the "hole she came from", and slave away for the rest of her life.

Favorite quotation: Princes are not supposed to be handsome! They're sniveling, stupid, repulsive creatures! This one.....this... How unfair of him to be royal and beautiful.
