Rating: 5 stars Review: This book has a lot of adventure. This boy is sort of like me. Smart, adventurous, animal loving, physically fit, and many more. That is why I like this book. It is like a reflection to me if I lived in the time of the first world war in Wisconsin area. Favorite quotation: "Despite the war in Europe, the world seemed safe these days. We trusted our fellow human beings, and particularly the animals in the woods."
