Review by: Zayn M. (Period 7) Author: Eoin Colfer Number of pages: 277 10-word summary: Kid geniuses. Technologically superior magical creatures. What's there to hate? Rating: 5 stars Review: I like this book because for one, it basically says kids can do anything. When there's a 12 year old who is this smart, that basically says kids can do anything. Another thing is that it has enough humor to make it funny and enough action for it to be considered an action book. Another thing is that no matter which side you're on, it will be a satisfying ending. Favorite quotation: "But sir, I am a waiter." Artemis tapped the table for attention. "You are wearing handmade loafers, a silk shirt, and three gold signet rings. Your English has a tinge of Oxford about it, and nails have the soft sheen of the recently manicured. You are not a waiter. You are our contact Nguyen Xuan, and you have adopted this pathetic disguise to discreetly check for weapons." Page 4
