Review by: Lucy S. (Period 3) Author: John Green Number of pages: 303 10-word summary: A witty journey of a boy and a mysterious girl Rating: 5 stars Review: I thought this book was AMAZING because it got you thinking about what life is really about. The author is incredibly talented at building the characters' personalities, and mixing humor with serious subjects. He creates an amazing night for Margo and the main character, Quentin, in the first few chapters, which I really like because it gets you hooked right away. Favorite quotation: "Now, I'm not sure what you're supposed to say to the checkout woman at twelve-thirty in the morning when you put thirteen pounds of catfish, Veet, the fat-daddy-size-tub of Vaseline, a six-pack of Mountain Dew, a can of blue spray paint, and a dozen tulips on the conveyor belt, but here's what I said: "This isn't as weird as it looks."
