Review by: Cassie C. (Period 3) Author: Rick Yancey Number of pages: 352 10-word summary: They have to save the world from messed up man. Rating: 3 stars Review: Some parts of the book were a bit of a stretch and didn't seem necessary. The concepts in the book were horrific and it didn't seem realistic that at the end they weren't insane. I still don't understand why an alien race would want to barge in and "help" us by killing everyone, but it was still a better way to spend my time than doing nothing. Overall the book was okay, but the first two were much better. Favorite quotation: “Pain is necessary. Pain is life. Without pain there can be no joy.”
