Review by: Cate F. (Period 5) Author: Tahereh Mafi Number of pages: 338 10-word summary: I was up all night reading this wonderful amazing book!! Rating: 5 stars Review: Shatter Me is about a girl named Juliette and if she touches anyone they die, she drains the life out of people, literally. She hates her power and because of an accident she gets locked up in a mental institution. She always thinks hat if she can just be a little bit better, a little bit kinder the world will forgive her. Then an interesting twist leaves Juliette questioning everything she knows about her curse and herself. Favorite quotation: Page number 5. I always wonder about raindrops. I wonder about how they're always falling down, tripping over their own feet, breaking their legs and forgetting their parachutes as they tumble right out of the sky toward an uncertain end. It's like someone is emptying their pockets over the earth and doesn't seem to care that the raindrops burst when they hit the ground, that they shatter when they fall to the floor, that people curse the days the drops dare to rap on their doors. I am a raindrop.
